SIGN SHOP
Sign Shop is a unique addition to a vibrant Highland, Denver neighborhood defined by context and light. The project is shaped using two arcs – one embracing the neighborhood, the other opening up to downtown Denver. The intersections of these arcs and a connection to the existing downtown street grid create a system of clerestory openings that illuminate the various interior spaces. The form of the roof plane, driven by the layout of the clerestories and varied interior space, animates the exterior form and juxtaposes with the stoic brick box of the existing structure itself.
