FYFER PLACE
Tomecek Studio is designing a multi family, urban infill project in Columbia, Missouri. The project acts as a catalyst for progressive design in the area. The oddly shaped lot led to a creative response of shared auto-court entries. These attached units are essentially stand alone buildings with the exception of an 8-foot shared wall at the stair towers. Four cantilevered masses extend into the public courtyards. Light and strategic placement of fenestration (windows) became an exercise in adjustability with minimal impact on the budget.
