THE GREEN AT 38TH
In collaboration with McLain Built, the canopy design brings a transformative enhancement to a historic stone house built in the 1940s and celebrated for its picturesque view of Long’s Peak. This project is designed to provide essential summer shading from the intense sun while preserving the home’s unobstructed sightline to the distant mountains.
A modern steel canopy is being crafted to complement the timeless charm of the historic structure. The construction emphasizes the use of raw materials in their authentic form, including board-formed concrete, exposed steel, and natural finishes. These materials not only honor the integrity of the original structure but also reflect a thoughtful balance between tradition and contemporary design.
