Framework at Sloan’s Lake is a 24 unit project consisting of eight single family units juxtaposed between two seven unit multi-family buildings. The design takes advantage of city and mountain views gathered around a private urban pocket park and community garden. The genesis of the project creates a LEED Gold community within the neighborhood.
The single family residences conceptualize individual programmatic volumes at the upper floor that allow light to filter down and provide definition of the open main living level. This approach allows the center core of the project to be illuminated with natural light while reinforcing the idea of floating private spaces above. The street-facing façade explores the filtration of light by using horizontal slot windows to create privacy from the public street and inviting an abundance of light at the entry and stair.
